Each CSU University has implemented AI in the software provided by vendors and approved by our Information Technology departments. The most prevalent tools are listed below. To determine if you have access to the AI tools listed below, please consult your university’s website to determine the specific tools you can access.

OpenAI's ChatGPT Edu agreement is tailored specifically for the California State University (CSU) system, providing advanced AI capabilities for all employees and students. It offers the ability to build custom GPTs for sharing within campus workspaces, as well as the needed privacy and data protection, and other enterprise security such as single sign-on (SSO), and SCIM integration.

All students, faculty, and staff have access to the full version of ChatGPT.  Check your campus portal or with your campus help desk for information on how to access ChatGPT.

zoom ai companion logo

Zoom AI Companion is an advanced AI assistant integrated into the Zoom experience. It delivers powerful and real time capabilities to help you improve productivity and collaboration on the Zoom platform. It uses information from across Zoom, including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Chat, the web, and uploaded files to provide assistance and summarize information.

LumenGPT is a specialized artificial intelligence-powered information and resource assistant employing Meta’s Llama 2 open-source language model.  It will be available to a sub-set of the CSU community and trained with CSU data resources.
