Leslie Kennedy, Ed.D., serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Academic Technology Services in Academic and Student Affairs at the California State University, Office of the Chancellor. In this role, Dr. Kennedy provides strategic leadership and creative oversight, enhancing the quality and integration of information technology into teaching, learning, research, scholarship, and the full range of student and academic services across the CSU system. She is responsible for directing the systematic implementation of academic technology initiatives while managing ATS budgets and personnel to foster creative and innovative solutions. Additionally, she advises the Chancellor’s Office leadership on a comprehensive range of academic technology services and initiatives—including systemwide library services, online education, enterprise academic software agreements, learning management systems, affordable learning solutions, artificial intelligence, and web design.
